11 Jul Small drones = big fun!

Although as commercial UAV operators we fly our drones out of necessity to capture amazing aerial shots for our clients, there is no doubt that the sheer enjoyment of flying is what most likely drew us to these devices in the first place.

When it comes to enjoyable UAV flying experiences, not many can compare with the DJI Mavic Pro. This highly advanced, phone-sized drone packs some serious technology and, when folded, can fit neatly in your jacket pocket. Equipped with multiple sensors that detect nearby obstacles, the Mavic Pro can be safely operated by nearly anyone (within the boundaries set by Transport Canada) and can capture video at up to 4K resolution.

There are many in-depth reviews online about the Mavic Pro, so I won’t go into detail here. I have mainly used this drone for personal projects and the video below is one of my earliest tests of it’s capabilities. Enjoy!
